Madison Council

Madison Council is a diverse group of dedicated young professionals committed to advancing the mission of Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. These leaders volunteer their time, talents and energy to positively impact the lives of thousands of NYC youth. During the 2025 fiscal year, Madison Council raised over $220,000 in support of Madison’s programs.

Your membership helps young people reach their fullest potential by achieving academic success, developing good character & citizenship and adopting healthy lifestyles. Madison Council also provides professional and social networking opportunities for you to connect with others who share a desire to help NYC youth.

The Madison Council supports the organization through:

  • Raising awareness and serving as Madison ambassadors

  • Organizing and attending fundraisers

  • Engaging in volunteer activities at Clubhouses

Members are expected to actively participate in Madison Council meetings, events and/or volunteer activities throughout the year.

Membership Benefits

Madison Council is a dynamic group of young professionals representing a broad swath of industries, including tech, finance, law, child care, politics, and the performing arts. What unites them, however, is a drive to help advance Madison's mission and programs serving New York City’s young people.

Membership to Madison Council affords opportunities to build relationships through Council-organized Happy Hours, Fun Runs, watch parties, and other engagement events; it also allows for opportunities to network with our Board of Directors through annual meetings, special programs and fundraisers, and professional development events such as our Board Breakfast series.

Most importantly, Madison Council allows young people to get together and work collaboratively to create opportunities for and enhance the lives of young people in some of New York City's most high-need neighborhoods. Whether connecting with youth members through volunteer events at our clubhouses, or helping to plan the Council's signature fundraiser, Madison Council is a great way to form community around values, action, and philanthropy.
